A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on May 10th, for the newly constructed Cedars Village (formally St. Maron), a 64-unit affordable senior housing development in South Philadelphia, in the heart of the Italian Market.

In attendance were the Honorable Mayor Nutter, Senator, Larry Farnese, and former 1st District Councilman Frank DiCicco.

Philadelphia born and raised Frank DiCicco announces the launch of Frank DiCicco Associates, a consulting firm that will work with a variety of companies in their marketing, government relations and public affairs efforts.

"The common thread that ties my past and my current professional relationships is my desire to see Philadelphia as a leader in modern technology and innovation and my passion for environmental issues and economic development," said the former four-term Councilman.

"I'm pleased to say that Carl Engelke of Eagle Eye Solutions will be joining forces with us to provide our current and future clients with a team that offers a plethora of diverse skills and know-how to rely on," said DiCicco.

"Carl brings vast experience and knowledge of working in community relations, business development and politics" here and in Harrisburg.

With over 20 years working in multiple facets of government, Engelke brings a wide variety of skills to the DiCicco team. He launched Eagle Eye Solutions 8 years ago and has worked with a diverse client base in both the city and state.

"Quality of life issues have always played an important role in matters I have supported and in legislation I introduced in my work in the City and the Commonwealth," said DiCicco.
